What is GRS (Global Recycling Standard)

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, chemical content and labeling. With GRS certification, we are communicating our commitment to truth in materials and support for a circular economy that reduces waste by using it to make new products.

Some of our polyester down alternative fibers are certified with GRS. These fiber fillings include:

All of these GRS fibers can be used in pillows and comforters, but normally are used in our pillows with some exceptions for GRS certified comforters like our Ahhhhhmazing™ comforter.

LiquiLoft™ and AquaLoft™ fiber fill are classified as "gel fibers". A "gel fiber" usually has a 1.5 denier polyester staple that is heavily siliconized. The fiber is known for a dense and slick feeling, making for a great huggable pillow with great drape.

Spira® fiber fill are polyester fibers that are mechanically crimped and made into little balls that are used as a filling material for some of our hospitality clients including hotels, resorts and cruise lines.

ClimaSmart XP™ fiber fill combines the best of temperature & humidity control with the best in support to keep you right in your comfort zone.

Which GRS pillow option is the best for you?

Buying a pillow can be subjective, so be sure to visit out pillow buying guide. Generally, we find LiquiLoft™ is a great option for many sleepers due to it's very huggable and squishy nature.

If your not sure whether you are a stomach, side or back sleeper - then we suggest our  3-in-1 Adjustable Pillow.
