Upon opening the package you will want to vigorously shake, punch and smash the fiber bed to get to a smoother state. We also suggest letting the fiber bed airing out for a good day plus to allow it to naturally fluff up post the vigorous shaking.
The measurement of the fiber bed is derived from the cut of the fabric, so upon placing on your bed you will see a couple inches gap between the mattress and the fiber bed. This is due to the item simply being puffed up and the vertical pull of the fabric from the sides.
A fiber bed is a piece of bedding that you can't simply lay on and not expect to fluff everyday. Upon laying on the fiber bed the weight of your body will leave an imprint and this is by design - it is cocooning you. Upon waking you will want to pre-fluff it for your next sleep experience - otherwise it can feel lumpy.
To maintain its pristine quality and enhance longevity:
- Use a fiber bed cover or a mattress pad on top to shield from moisture damage.
- Please note, this deluxe fiber bed requires spot care only and is NOT suitable for machine washing.
We strongly suggest adding a waterproof mattress pad or waterproof mattress protector.
